Trend analysis

Trend analysis is an instrument that allows you to gain insight into the development over time of the different measurements. These are, among others, measurements such as:

Version differences: for quantitative insight into how much and what has been changed, added, and deleted over time
Identified clones: for quantitative insight over time into those sections of the software that occur several times in the application
Naming conventions: for quantitative insight over time of the naming conventions that are incorrectly observed
Programming rules: for quantitative insight over time of the incorrectly observed programming rules
Cyclomatic Complexity: for quantitative insight over time into the testability of the application
Maintainability: for insight into the maintainability of the application over time
Amounts: for insight into, among others, the number of components and the number of lines of code over time
Function points: for insight into the development over time of the size of the application in (maintainability) function points
